Drop of live births 9 months after Fukushima

In the study region around Fukushima (Fukushima+Iwate+Miyagi+Gunma+Tochigi+Ibaraki+Chiba), the number of live births dropped in December 2012 by 10%  (P<1E-6). This drop translates to 1247 missing births. No abnormal deviations are found in the months before and after December 2011.
